Kennet Centre Trade Fair

On February 6th 2016, our team members visited the Kennet Centre’s Young Enterprise Trade Fair. Our morning team arrived early to ensure a good spot to set up our stall. We decorated our stall and prepared for the official opening of the Centre, ready to receive customers. We assigned three people to walk around the centre to draw attention to our stall and draw customers in. We initially had an interactive stall, in which customers could vote for a potential flavour of coffee syrups we might introduce. This got customers engaged in our stall, and led to people buying our coffee. We talked to people about our brand, our ethics and our coffee, which interested our customers and encouraged them to purchase some of our coffee. The trade fair was also a great opportunity to look around and support other local Young Enterprise groups who were selling their products too. As well as that it gave us the opporunity to launch our new product 'the chemical free decaff' coffee and we were able to get feedback from the public. We found the whole trade fair a really interesting experience and a great opportunity to expand the platform we have for selling our coffee. Overall, we had a successful day selling everything but 5 bags of coffee. We also got to talk to customers from which we learnt a lot as a team and were able to enlarge our customer base with some exciting future opportunities for Roasted.
